Stories Detail Haryana

Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch expanded its work to Haryana, where they conducted a survey to understand the challenges faced by women in the region. The survey revealed that women in Haryana face significant difficulties in finding employment due to a lack of education.

This limitation prevents them from managing their households effectively, as their income is insufficient to meet the demands of rising living costs. In many households, where the entire family depends on one income, it becomes extremely challenging to improve their living conditions. This issue also affects the education of their children. Many women, hoping for a change, expressed their desire to join Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch to improve their situation. In response, the organization took action to address these challenges by bringing together around 1,000-2,000 women from Khori Village, Haryana, and providing them with skill development training. Women were taught handicrafts and computer skills, and their children were given free stationery. Today, these women in Khori Village are able to generate their own income.
Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch continues to work hard with the aim of providing better support and a platform for these women in the future.
