Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch has also made significant contributions in Bihar, particularly focusing on child education. In Chhapra, Bihar, the organization initiated a school named Pavani School.
Approximately 50-60 children were enrolled in this school. During the survey, it was discovered that many children were not attending school. Upon further investigation, it was found that the lack of teachers and their inconsistent attendance was preventing children from receiving an education.
To address this, Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch opened the Pavani School in Chhapra, where daily classes were provided to children, and the importance of education was emphasized. The parents of these children, after being informed about the benefits of education, joined hands with the NGO, going door-to-door in their communities to encourage other children to join the school so more children could benefit from the program.
In meetings with the parents, it was revealed that due to low income, they were unable to provide their children with basic necessities like proper clothing and food. Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch ensured that all essential facilities were provided at the school, bringing great joy to the children and their families.
While the country’s economy is advancing, there are still many areas in India where children face such challenges. Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch remains committed to working towards uplifting these underprivileged communities and ensuring that they too progress and benefit from the opportunities they deserve.
