Bhartiya Mahila Kamgar Manch (BMKM) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit trust registered under the
Indian Trust Act of 1882 on June 10, 2014. It was founded in 2006 by Mrs. Anila Shukla (Founder) as a support
group for women from lower-income sections of society.
Women, who serve as the backbone of society, often face harassment both from the community and their
families. Despite being essential to the family unit, they encounter numerous challenges in their daily lives.
Due to a lack of support and awareness, many women have become the most vulnerable members of society.
